Mercury moves into Aquarius today, January 27th.

So, what’s the deal? I hear you say. “I’m not an Aquarian,” you say, “so it can’t possibly influence me.”

Yeah… nah. The movement of the planets offers us a glimpse into the planetary or astro weather forecast that influences us all. Whether you embrace it or not, during the upcoming weeks of Mercury’s transit through Aquarius, the area of your chart governed by Aquarius will ignite your curiosity. You’ll find yourself seeking answers, craving knowledge, and approaching things from a fresh perspective.

Now is the ideal moment to engage in future planning, acquaint yourself with the newest and most cutting-edge apps or social media platforms, and finally have that crucial relationship discussion you’ve been putting off. In truth, I wasn’t entirely honest about the last one. Now is not the ideal moment for engaging in deep and meaningful communication. Anticipate Mercury in Pisces for that—and don’t forget the tissues… just a heads up.

Aquarius season kicked off on the 19th, and with an additional planet in this sign, we’re embracing a journey towards authenticity while letting go of the naysayers. Mercury will remain in this sign until February 14th, when it transitions into Pisces, bringing a distinct shift in energy for us and our relationships.

Aquarians may come across as indifferent, but beneath their emotionally detached exterior lies a genuine sense of care. They perceive a broader perspective; they don’t merely focus on the immediate or the apparent but delve deeper into the greater meaning and significance that situations or feelings embody.

Aquarians embody the spirit of rebellion, often seen as unconventional and, at times, solitary figures. Currently, we’re transitioning from Mercury in Capricorn, a phase focused on envisioning the future, strategizing, and determining the best ways to communicate our ideas with others.

Mercury in Capricorn often resembles that eager child who is compelled to share every little plan. However, as we mature, we realize that it’s best to execute certain significant actions quietly and independently. Currently, our attention is focused on understanding our fundamental needs and exploring the essence of self-love, especially in light of the ongoing astrological influences and the significance of the eclipse season.

This year, we likely have ambitious plans that closely align with our personal needs and the practice of self-love. We’ve come to understand that true success and confidence must first come from within. We cannot rely on others to provide what we haven’t cultivated in ourselves.

At the start of the year, excitement and positivity filled the air with Mercury in Capricorn. Many of us likely unveiled plans or showcased our well-being, partly as a way to affirm our own feelings. As we transition into Aquarius, expect a surge of authentic energy.

Aquarius may not openly display their emotions, but this sign encourages us to step back and approach emotional issues with a more rational perspective. At times, it’s essential to stay connected to our hearts, yet our emotions can overshadow our true feelings for someone. This often stems from one of our greatest challenges: being honest with ourselves.

With Mercury in Aquarius, the emphasis is on truth. This alignment invites a wave of clarity, revealing not just our desires and emotions, but also our essential needs. This sign stands apart from other rebellious signs, such as Sagittarius, because Aquarian energy remains unfazed by the opinions or judgments of others.

Aquarians remain unfazed by others’ perceptions of them as eccentric or misguided; deep down, they are confident in the choices they are destined to make. They exude a confidence that empowers them to trust in themselves and their emotions, allowing them to take action and effectively share their feelings with others throughout their journey.

This upcoming transit will influence our planning and communication over the next couple of weeks, but there’s a larger narrative at play.
