For the last time until 2040, seven planets will align in the night sky for a spectacular cosmic event.
By February 28, 2025, the planetary alignment will feature an impressive lineup of SEVEN planets as Mercury makes its grand entrance into the “parade.” So, if you think you “missed” the January 2025 parade of planets, don’t worry! The February 2025 planetary parade is set to be even bigger and more spectacular!
On the evening of 28 February, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Venus, Neptune, Mercury, and Saturn will align in a stunning row, creating a rare spectacle that won’t be seen again for 15 years. Don’t miss this extraordinary opportunity to witness all the planets visible at once!
Planetary parades featuring four or five planets occur with some frequency, while alignments of six or seven are truly exceptional.
Six planets are currently aligned in the night sky, but stargazers will need to be patient until February 28, when Mercury will make its appearance just above the horizon, completing this spectacular astronomical event.
Some planets won’t be visible without assistance; Neptune and Uranus, for instance, need binoculars or a telescope to be seen.
Experts highlight that the ideal moment to experience the celestial phenomena is shortly after sunset, as the stars start to grace the sky.
Mars will grace the eastern sky, while Jupiter and Uranus will shine in the southeast. Meanwhile, Venus, Neptune, and Saturn will illuminate the western horizon.

Nearly every planet in our solar system will be visible without any special equipment, with the exception of Uranus and Neptune, which will need binoculars or a telescope for viewing.
