The November 29th New Moon (at 7 degrees Sagittarius) presents us with uncertain beginnings.
This New Moon bursts out of the Scorpionic hostage of the last New Moon where they may have been captive. This is quite an urgent place for the Moon, but at the same time it is not blindly impulsive. This Archer New Moon will not draw back it’s arrow until it is utterly sure of its target and then it will hit the bull’s eye straight off. Yes, the Moon here is swift, graceful and to the point.
This Moon squares the Nodes (8 degrees Virgo/Pisces) and Neptune (9 degrees Pisces). It suggests starting at a crossroads, where lies/illusions/dreams/hints (Neptune/South Node) must be released or clarified, before you can move forward to the facts of the Virgo North Node. There was advanced warning about this earlier in the month, with November 18th’s square from Mercury in Sag to the Nodes/Neptune.
This will not be an easy start. Along with the struggle to separate fact from fiction, or define what’s vague, the Neptune square will expand possibilities. Sagittarius squared by Neptune feels limitless – it won’t be clear how far you should take this new beginning, because the edges of the known world will be blurry. But you’ll feel an urgent push to get started anyway – a square to the Nodes means unfinished business must be attended to, ASAP.
Adding to the urgency, Venus in Capricorn will make an exact square to Uranus Rx in Aries, at 20 degrees. The defined relationship/financial/self-esteem issue will be shaken. The rules of what you want or love will abruptly crack. Something new will emerge. We see the relationship theme carried back to the New Moon, which conjoins Juno. Here is the new contract/commitment (romantic or otherwise) which must be freshly defined. Nothing is certain at this point, and there will be so many expectations or half-truths to sort through.
If you’re looking for certainty, you won’t get it. Yet. You’ll know you have to do something, but you won’t be sure howto do it. That’s OK. Just move forward, using the Virgo North Node as a marker on the horizon. Take it step by step as you pick through the details. Confront each lie/illusion, define each solid potential. Whenever Neptune is involved, you make progress if you allow things to develop, rather than insisting on a set result.
Your focus will improve as you move forward – trust this. December 10th might be a day to look forward to, as the Sun conjoins Saturn. Here are your defined limits and certainties – the first shot of solidification and a clear sign of how the potentials of this New Moon will develop.
6 to 9 degrees of the Mutable signs will feel this Moon most strongly.
