3 Ways To Bridge Spirituality And Day-to-Day Life Without Meditation

At least once in our lives, we’ve all had a fleeting moment in which we came face to face with our oneness with the universe.

Unfortunately, this doesn’t happen very often and when it does, it doesn’t last very long.

Luckily, there are a few ways in which you can gain control of these moments and create them when you need to.

Here are three paths you can travel to feel your connection with the universe.

1. Turn up the volume on your appreciation

Appreciation is the best way to get in touch with your spirituality and change your life. It forces you to stop focusing on mundane things and shifts your attention to the most important thing, love.

Try to appreciate even the smallest things around you. Then try to figure out the part of your body that feeling originates from and spend a few seconds concentrating on that.

Then find more and more things to appreciate till your eyes shine and you feel warm inside.

2. Play with humor

Some might claim that humor is too juvenile for spirituality but tell me, have you ever felt more alive than in that moment when you’re beside yourself with laughter, to the point that there are tears in your eyes?

Humor is everywhere if only you look for it. Strengthen your sense of humor and you’ll start to see a difference.

Take any part of your life and try to look at the lighter side of it. Write up a funny sketch in your head and let it amuse you till you burst out laughing.

3. Jesus take the wheel

There are times when you’ll feel like your journey is just too hard. You try really hard to be positive but you just don’t have the energy anymore.

The best method to deal with this is to let everything go for a bit. Forget your mind and spend a while examining your body and all its movements.

Open your body up to accept control from the best version of yourself. The more you can observe yourself, the more relief you will feel.
