The Saturn Retrograde is an annual occurrence. However, this one starting on June 4 and ending on October 22 is special.
The reason is this will be the very last Aquarius Saturn Retrograde in 28 years! This will be Saturn’s last chance for a very long time to integrate the lessons that were being worked on before it enters Pisces next year.
In the zodiac, Saturn is believed to be the strict teacher. Its lessons are challenging but it is always meant to aid our growth. Saturn’s main theme is taking responsibility, setting boundaries, and paying tribute to our personal integrity.
Saturn In The Aquarius Cycle
Saturn’s entry into Aquarius was back on March 22nd, 2020. That was when the horrible pandemic had begun. As such, many astrologers predict that the pandemic will also properly end when Saturn exits Aquarius.
If you are a journal-keeper, then flip back and see the entries during that period in 2020. These were probably the seeds of what has happened thus far during Saturn’s stay in Aquarius.
December 2020 was the next important date during this cycle. This is when Saturn ended its brief retrograde and re-entered Aquarius. It was extra auspicious since it formed an alignment with Jupiter, creating “The Great Conjunction”. This was the start of a fresh cosmic cycle that is still ongoing.
Then came March 2021 when the first full Aquarius Saturn retrograde took place. After that, October 2021 saw Saturn station direct once more. Again, try to remember the themes that were on your mind during these times. See if you notice a pattern.
At the present, June 2022 will be the most important upcoming date for this cycle. After that, the notable dates will be October 2022, and then next year in March. That’s when Saturn will finally depart Aquarius.
Can You Remember The Seeds?
All of these dates might have one or even multiple themes that are common among them. There might be patterns as well as lessons that have been strewn through them by Saturn for us to find.
Saturn does make us work hard. However, at the same time, that work is designed to make us grounded. It makes us look at things practically, and aids us in structuring and ordering our lives. It ensures that we take responsibility for the things that we truly desire in our lives.

An interesting thing to note for people who became 28-30 or 57-59 during this period – this period is extra special for you.
