March has arrived, and we will begin the month with a New Moon in the sign of Pisces and our first eclipse of 2024, which will be a Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Libra.
What exactly is a New Moon?
It is referred to as a conjunction when the transiting Sun and the moving Moon are in the exact same position in the Zodiac. This indicates that a new moon is occurring. Beginnings are associated with new moons, which are characterized by high energy and a positive attitude.
What exactly is a Full Moon?
When the Sun and Moon are in positions in the Zodiac that are completely opposite to one another, this is referred to as an opposition. This type of moon is known as a full moon. The full moon is associated with conclusion and culmination, and it is a source of emotional energy.
What exactly is a Lunar Eclipse?
The conjunction of the Sun and Moon, which are celestial bodies in motion, causes a full moon to occur. The emotional energy of a full moon is associated with endings and culminations. When a full moon is within 18 1/2 degrees of the lunar nodes, which are the points where the moon’s orbit crosses the ecliptic, an eclipse of the moon can be observed.
New Moon in Pisces: March 10th 2024 (5 a.m. ET/11 a.m. CET)
Given that Pisces is the sign that rules dreams and imagination, the Pisces New Moon might be a fertile ground for imaginative pursuits. This can be used for imaginative endeavors, and it will be easier to find inspiration.
Since Pisces is a sign of compassion, the New Moon may also bring about increased capacity for understanding and empathy. Perhaps we should seek out new ways to help and direct our efforts toward those who are unable to assist themselves.
It may be a good time to embark on new spiritual endeavors now that Pisces is the sign of the fish. We can tune into the subtle energies around us more effectively and spend more time connecting with our intuition and subconscious mind.
We may uncover a secret or previously unknown information, and Pisces is the sign that rules the hidden, so we may find that we are more productive when we are on our own. Even though we wish we could lend a hand, sometimes we’re more effective when we work quietly in the background.
There may be a need to clear the decks before anything new can arrive, since Pisces is the last sign in the zodiac. Also, we can gain a better understanding of the past by reflecting on it more, but with less emotion.
We can take a fresh approach and make changes thanks to the New Moon’s sextile to transiting Uranus in Taurus, which is two signs away and forms a beneficial aspect. We have the freedom to be ourselves, to be creative, and to accept the unexpected. We have the freedom to be bold and honest.
The new moon occurs at 20 degrees 17 minutes Pisces.
The aspects to the new moon are:
Conjunction: 18 degrees 17 minutes – 22 degrees 17 minutes Pisces
Sextile: 18 degrees 17 minutes – 22 degrees 17 minutes Taurus or Capricorn
Square: 18 degrees 17 minutes – 22 degrees 17 minutes Gemini or Sagittarius
Trine: 18 degrees 17 minutes – 22 degrees 17 minutes Cancer or Scorpio
Opposition: 18 degrees 17 minutes – 22 degrees 17 minutes Virgo
Lunar Eclipse in Libra: March 25th 2024 (3:01 a.m. ET/8:01 a.m. CET)
In March of 2024, we will witness a Lunar Eclipse in Libra, the first eclipse of the year. The Libra Lunar Eclipse shines a light on our connections since Libra is the relationship sign. We can zero in on the relationships that are flourishing and those that are in shambles.
If some of them are succeeding, we can devote more resources to them. Spending more time with these people is something we can enjoy, and we would like to feel even closer to them. That might indicate that some people move forward with the partnership or relationship.
For the ones that aren’t working, we need to determine if there’s any way to turn things around. To the extent that it is within our power, we can make an effort to be more empathetic. Both sides are now more apparent, which is helpful. If it’s beyond repair, we might just try to put some distance between ourselves and it to make it easier to handle.
Since this eclipse has the potential to greatly disrupt our plans, we can be considerably more accommodating in our efforts to maintain peace. We would much rather have things remain peaceful, quiet, and balanced. This allows us to be more diplomatic and sensitive.
The transit of Pluto in Aquarius forms a trine with the Lunar Eclipse, which is a favorable aspect four signs distant. This alignment supports us when we interact with others passionately and intensely. As our comfort levels with intimacy rise, we can experience a deeper sense of connection and fortify our emotional bonds. Our relationships can also be a vehicle for personal growth and change.
Just a heads up: this Aries-Libra eclipse set features just one Lunar Eclipse in Libra, so expect a heightened effect immediately surrounding the eclipse and, hopefully, a swift resolution to any issues that may arise rather than a protracted one.
The Lunar Eclipse occurs at 5 degrees 7 minutes Libra.
Aspects to the Lunar Eclipse are:
Conjunction: 0 degrees 7 minutes – 10 degrees 7 minutes Libra
Semisextile: 3 degrees 7 minutes – 7 degrees 7 minutes Virgo or Scorpio
Sextile: 0 degrees 7 minutes – 10 degrees 7 minutes Leo or Sagittarius
Square: 0 degrees 7 minutes – 10 degrees 7 minutes Cancer or Capricorn
Trine: 0 degrees 7 minutes – 10 degrees 7 minutes Gemini or Aquarius
Quincunx: 3 degrees 7 minutes – 7 degrees 7 minutes Taurus or Pisces
Opposition: 3 degrees 7 minutes – 10 degrees 7 minutes Aries
