My mind is keen and my senses are sharp. I know that you are not perfect and I accept that. You might not be the person you believe you are or the person that others have told me you. But I don’t care.
I am fully aware of your imperfections and you know? They don’t matter because I’m not perfect either. In our time together, I got to know you, the real you, and as I get nearer, you only intrigue me more with all the beauty you keep hidden.
Learning about you has been wonderful. You’ve bared your mind and soul to me and I swear I love it all, even the things you are ashamed of.
I don’t want you to hide from what has happened and the times you feel you’ve made the wrong choices because without that, you would not be the person I love right now.
I promise that I will never ask you to be a different person and that I will never see you as something broken that needs to be fixed. I love you because you are who you are.
Sometimes you feel as strong as a thunderstorm, other times as fragile and gentle as a snowflake.
I know you’ve tried to distance yourself when you feel like you are going to hurt me. But my love is not so weak as to be shaken by something like this. I know that in your heart of hearts you love me more than you can say.
In the end, all I ask of you is to allow me to love you when you are sad, anxious, and worried. I’ll stand with you and love you and do my best to protect you. I promise that you will never have to suffer anything alone.
Just believe in me, believe in us, and I will love you endlessly.
