The Libra Full Moon will reach its peak on April 6, 2023. Libra is a sign that represents our relationships and how we interact with them. It is also linked to justice, fairness, and others’ needs and well-being.
We may notice a spotlight on our relationships and how we choose to show up in them during the Libra Full Moon. Which relationships bring out the best in us? What beliefs cause us to become a smaller version of ourselves?
The Full Moon may shine a light on this for us, sending healing vibrations that can help us feel more confident, supported, and seen. We may also gain the courage to let go of or change relationships that are no longer serving our highest selves.
The Libra Full Moon Brings Healing
Chiron, the wounded healer asteroid, will be very active under the April 2023 Full Moon, assisting us in observing how our wounds may be guiding our relationships and the way we choose to show up in our interactions with others.
Our wounds can sometimes keep us from being fully present and authentic in our relationships, but Chiron’s energy reminds us that our wounds don’t have to hold us back. Our wounds can exist while still leading us to wholeness, love, connection, and beauty.
Chiron understands that some wounds are simply too deep to ever be “healed.” Instead, Chiron teaches us to accept and love our wounds, and to recognize that these everlasting wounds have the power to shape us into a better version of ourselves.
Chiron discovers his gift as a healer, teacher, and intuitive through his own wounding. And perhaps your wounds can do the same for you.
You can walk around with wounds while still living an amazing, loving, and purposeful life.
If you are willing to put in the effort, the Libra Full Moon can illuminate your healing journey, assisting you to recognize your wholeness despite your wounds. And it may be possible to make deeper, more meaningful, and authentic connections with others as a result of this wholeness.
The Libra Full Moon: Cord Cutting
Under the Libra Full Moon, there is a beauty that can guide us to become deeper, more connected, and more in tune with the world around us. We are frequently focused on becoming more in tune with ourselves and our inner world, but this Full Moon encourages us to also become more in tune with others.
The Full Moon in April encourages us to make deeper connections and to not be afraid to lean in. When Libra energy is strong, we have a tendency to lose ourselves in the presence of others, and while we don’t want to go there, it is sometimes a necessary part of finding ourselves.
If you’ve found yourself in the grips of another, this Full Moon is your chance to swim to the other side and emerge more awakened and connected to who you are.
If you feel called, the Libra Full Moon is also an auspicious time to perform a cord-cutting ceremony. You can use this ritual to cut any cords of connection that are keeping you stuck or limited. When you perform the cord-cutting ritual, you are not exchanging energy with the other person, but rather severing the energetic ties you have formed with them.
Jupiter is also strongly linked to this Full Moon, which can be advantageous in this type of work. Jupiter is a massive expander. It draws our attention to what needs to be addressed so that we can take action once and for all.
With Jupiter’s expansive qualities amplified by this Full Moon, we’ll be able to see where we need to cut cords and where we can afford to lean in a little deeper. Jupiter will not only make it clear to us, but it will also highlight the positive, allowing us to appreciate and recognize the silver linings that surround us.
The Libra Full Moon and the Power of the Goddesses
This Full Moon has two strong feminine influences, three if you count the fact that Libra is ruled by Venus, the Goddess of Love. Eris, the Goddess of Discord and Strife, and Vesta, an asteroid named after the Goddess of Hearth and Fire, are two powerful feminine influences.
These Goddess forces’ influence could manifest itself in a variety of ways. Eris may cause some destruction for us, allowing some discord to be felt so that we can act to restore greater harmony.
Full Moons have a tendency to expose and release things from our lives, so this could be the source of the discord. With the strong Goddess energy circling, we may also see gender equality and reproductive rights issues present in the collective.
Vesta has a gentler energy and may be the antidote to any discord or strife Eris may cause. Vesta calls us back to our roots, our center, and our inner fire. Our inner fire represents our truth, our authenticity, and who we truly are without the layers that society and our expectations impose on us.
This Full Moon has a lot of energy circling it, but it appears to be calling us to recognize our wholeness, seek deeper connections, cut cords that keep us stuck, honor the discord, and tend to our own inner fire.
