Not only is the full moon in Virgo the final full moon of winter, but it is also the final full moon of this astrological season.

It is scheduled to rise on February 24 at 7:31 a.m. ET (1:31 p.m. CET). On March 19, at 11:06 p.m. ET (17:06 p.m. CET), the beginning of the Aries Season marks the beginning of the astrological new year as well as the beginning of spring.

At the full moon, the lunar cycle comes to a close, and with it comes the opportunity to let go, heal, rejuvenate, and release. At this exact moment, the moon is shining brightly upon Earth, allowing us to see objects more closely and intimately than before. The moon has a profound effect on Earthlings because it regulates the tides in the ocean and humans contain as much as 60% water. During a full moon, we experience heightened intuition and a heightened sensitivity to our emotions.

Because of the planetary alignments and the signs of the moon, each full moon has a unique effect on humans. On this, the full moon in Virgo (sometimes called the snow moon), we have the opportunity to let go of anything that doesn’t support our principles. During this time, we are encouraged to prioritize ourselves above all else and to listen to both our rational and intuitive selves. Delving deeper into our thoughts strengthens our resolve to turn our dreams into tangible realities. More of a mystery is revealed when it aspects other planets.

On the 24th, there will be a full moon in Virgo, which will align with Jupiter in Taurus and oppose Mercury and Saturn, both of which are presently in Pisces. There may be harmful misunderstandings in relationships due to the lumation’s aspect to Mercury, the Planet of Communication. Saturn’s influence makes it difficult for us to express ourselves since it limits our emotions; as a result, we may be reluctant to share our positive emotions with others. Jupiter will amplify these feelings, making it harder for us to let people in. It is important to let go of our frustrations rather than bottle them up, so doing so could lead to feelings of internal pressure.

Small celestial bodies called asteroids enrich the atmospheres of bigger planets. Asteroid Pallas in Sagittarius and Ceres in Capricorn both contribute to the full moon’s increased flare. In Capricorn, the nurturing planet Ceres takes on an icy tone. This means we should control our emotions and strive to improve our lives by using what we know to not repeat our previous mistakes. One must learn from one’s mistakes. Pallas is a symbol of knowledge and the ability to apply our knowledge and reasoning to a variety of challenges. Even though this is a chance for self-healing, we risk getting defensive and wishing to channel that energy into learning more.

Although it may be difficult, there are benefits to expressing our hidden emotions. The connection between the fixed star Sadachbia and the sun in Pisces can assist us in comprehending and managing our emotions, which in turn can alleviate stress and anxiety. Speaking up and sharing our ideas can be beneficial in the end, even though the analytical Virgo moon might make it hard to do so. With the fixed star’s uplifting energy, we can learn more about ourselves and the nuances of our emotions by revealing previously unseen feelings and secrets.

The conjunction of Venus and Jupiter occurs on the full moon day. It may be difficult to maintain motivation due to the Venus and Jupiter alignment, but keeping a positive outlook and being grounded in reality will help. It is important to be aware of the potential obstacles that may develop in a relationship, especially when it comes to money. By tapping into the Virgo full moon’s earthy energy, we can maintain our grounding and concentration, which will enable us to think and do more productively.

Introspection and self-discovery are hallmarks of the Virgo full moon, when we look within for answers. Instead of sharing, this is a time to reflect. As a group, we will be thinking about our life goals and the kinds of relationships we would like to have.

During this lunation, it is crucial to love yourself and trust your intuition and knowledge to guide you.
