Not everything we are comfortable with is good for us. And neither is everything that gives us discomfort bad.
Change is inevitable, and it is often accompanied by discomfort. Sometimes, the fact that you are not entirely comfortable with your circumstances is the only way of knowing that you are on track.
You might think you are repeating a cycle of the same old problems you used to face as a child. It actually indicated that you are more aware of your own thoughts and feelings. And when you know how you feel, only then can you change it.
You feel like you are lost and have no direction to follow. It might sound like a bad thing, but all it means is that you are not blindly following timeworn ideas and are actually thinking for yourself.
When you become more aware of your intuition and emotions, your right brain is at work. If you’re not used to it, it might seem like the left brain functions are all in a slump. These include being focused, keeping track of details etc.
Being too overwhelmed with emotions on occasions and lashing out on yourself as well as others. This is because it is time for you to face these emotions, and not repress them. If you do that you will be able to take control.
You are facing trouble trying to get a good night’s sleep. You are either too tired so you sleep all day. Or you are so energised that you can’t sleep for more than a few hours at a time. There is no in between.
A momentous event is either on it’s way or has already happened. You are about to transit from one way of living to the other, going from being single to married or even the other way round.
You now prefer spending time on your own, instead of being out partying with friends. You feel these events and gatherings as a great strain on your mental peace and they usually leave you feeling fatigued.
Your dreams are suddenly much more vivid than before and you are able to retain them for much longer too. This is because your subconscious mind is trying to get a message across to you and this is it’s way of doing it.
Your are now much more particular about the kind of people you have around you. Earlier you might have tolerated negative or toxic people but now you just find it easier to cut them off entirely.
Earlier you might have been a pushover due to your sincere nature but now you are not letting anyone walk over you. You have realized that the only way you can make others respect you is when you do it in the first place.
And finally you have come to the realization that the only person who can have a say in your happiness is you. It might be scary when you think that there is no one to blame your misery on. But in reality it is quite liberating.
