Most of us want to remain positive in our lives. But life doesn’t always go as planned. Sometimes, you end up confronting someone who will be passive-aggressive and make you feel disgusted, mostly about yourself.
Or you might end up meeting a person whom you thought to be great but who turns out to have an ulterior motive. Then, there is negative news always rolling on air. All these will have a major effect on your energy levels. It might even end up lowering your vibration level as well.
Here are some of the ways you can tackle negative energy and maintain a positive energy level:
Firstly, you have to understand that the negative energy that is affecting you is not yours. It is someone else’s. The more you think of it as a distinct element, the better you will be able to deal with the negative energy.
Plus, activate your intuition to make the distinction. When you feel like negative energy is breaching you, start by grounding your own energy, create a strong aura that keeps off the negative energy. Know that it is not yours.
2. Imagine Your Aura
Once you are able to distinguish between someone else’s negative energy and your own, you can build up your own aura. You can do it by imagining it. Imagine that you are under your aura, rather inside it. Your aura has made a protective shield all around you.
Now, once you have built up this shield of energy keep it strong. Know that there could be no amount of negative energy that can break through it. It is your wall, your home and no one is allowed in without your permission.
3. Gain Clarity
We are full of energy and since energy transports from one person to another, it is possible that they have rubbed off a negative energy source even though they are not so. There might be people who give off negative vibes because they are under the influence of someone else’s negativity.
Try to be clear on this distinction and the more clarity you gain, the more you become able to understand what kind of negative energy you are dealing with here. It will help you to control your flow and energy level and also be compassionate towards others.
When you are in a place where your only companion is a negative person, what will you do? The best thing is to ground yourself and surround yourself with your positive aura. Also, be compassionate – know that their negative vibes may come from their ego.
Ego here is what Jung and Freud mentioned, not the colloquial substitution for arrogance. It is the part that connects the unconscious and conscious – emerging from a sense of personal identity.
5. Be Grateful
Be kind. As we saw, negative energy can come from a place of ego and sometimes, people can’t help it – it is their identity. But you can be grateful and by being grateful, you can expand your mind and perspective and show kindness to others.
It will make you a better person, though you don’t have to open yourself up to the negative energy of others. Just analyze them in your own liberal way.
So, maintain your positive side and be kind. That way you become a better human being.
