True teaching does not reside in words. It is not found on the pages of books, nor in lectures, nor even in what a Master says.

The source of true teaching lies beyond all form, beyond all intermediaries—and can only be recognized in that inner silence that is not opened by personal will but by pure presence.

Words Do Not Teach

The natural tendency of the human mind is to want to learn—to understand, systematize, and possess knowledge. But truth—true, living truth—is not something that can be learned. A teaching that speaks only to the mind may offer intellectual satisfaction, but it does not awaken. It is not the kind of teaching that leaves silence behind.

True teaching gives rise to recognition, not information. It does not ask, “What do you know about this?” but rather, “Do you live it?” Recognition is not the fruit of accumulated knowledge but the unfolding of inner spaciousness, when you no longer seek answers from the mind but simply are with what is.

Teaching Does Not Come from Outside

Any form—a book, a teacher, a sentence—is at most a mirror. True recognition does not come from these; they only point to what has always been within you. Teaching, in truth, does not happen—it is revealed. It does not arrive from the outside, but emerges when what concealed it falls away.

Thus, the source of teaching is not the Master. And not the disciple either. The source of teaching is Silence. That space which is not personal, not bound to form, not nameable—but which permeates everything.

When this silence speaks, it does not do so in words, but in seeing. As intuitive recognition that does not build upon the past, does not project into the future, but opens here and now, like a flower blooming—without effort.

Teaching Is Not a Story

The mind seeks stories. “How did it happen?” “When did you awaken?” “What did you experience?”—but these questions all arise from the personal perspective. True teaching does not happen to someone. True teaching begins where the seeker disappears. Where the question is no longer “What can I still learn?” but “Who is it that wants to know this?” And when this question touches you deeply, everything quiets. The seeker grows tired. The answers lose their importance. And then—there is silence.

In this silence, there is no need for a teacher. No need for a sacred book. Because truth—which was never far—is simply present. Without adornment, without striving, without form.

Recognition Is Not Bound to Time

Recognition is not an event you will one day reach. It is not the result of progress. It is not the fruit of many years of practice. This does not mean that years cannot be part of the story—but the story is not necessary for recognition.

Consciousness does not evolve. Consciousness recognizes itself. It is not the person that evolves toward enlightenment—it is the person that dissolves, and what remains is pure Consciousness, which never ceased to be present.

This recognition does not occur in time—but outside of it. Time is only a construct of the mind. Silence is not temporal—and thus, teaching that arises from this silence is also timeless. It does not age. It does not become outdated. Because it does not belong to the world.

Teaching Cannot Be Repeated

True teaching is not a formula. It cannot be “re-told” like a quote. Because what mattered was not the words but the space from which they arose. This is why the same sentence may feel empty once and deeply illuminating another time—depending on the state of awareness with which it is heard.

Thus, true teaching is always fresh. It does not repeat itself, because it does not come from the past. Silence does not copy itself. Each of its utterances is unique—and yet flows from the same eternal source.

Teaching Is Not an Answer

Many bring questions to the Master. But the Master—if truly speaking from Silence—does not give answers. He returns you to the one who is questioning. Because behind every question lies the one who asks. And if you do not recognize that, any answer is just a distraction.

True teaching, then, is not knowledge—but quieting. Not an answer—but a return to yourself. Not learning—but shedding. Shedding everything you have learned, believed, or identified with. Only in this emptiness—in this total unknowing—can truth be present.

Teaching Must Be Lived, or It Is Not Yours

Reading is not enough. Understanding is not enough. Quoting is not enough. Teaching only becomes real when it is embodied in you. When Silence is not only behind your words but present in every moment of your life.

True teaching does not lead you somewhere. It does not make you more successful, wiser, or more “spiritual.” True teaching stops you. Strips you. Deprives you of all you thought you were. And only then—when nothing remains—does it reveal what you have always been.
