Feng Shui is working on principles of the free moving energies and also the idea that every single object that is in our home has its vibrational properties that influence general vibes, and in that way, our life.
Several rules exist about how our living space is supposed to function, a lot of which can sometimes be hard to apply when it comes to the fact that the space where we live was not designed according to those basic rules.
But there are several other rules that may improve the quality of our lives and which are quite easy to apply and implement, and they may bring significant changes with them very quickly too.
For instance, some obstacles and difficulties in the flow of energy, like objects that cause clutter or items that look like dragging us in our past, may easily be managed in just a couple of minutes.
Moreover, there are certain things for which we have to take care immediately, particularly when those things often interfere with our energy recharge we get while we are asleep.
Thinking about the fact that we spend about one-third of our lives in our bed, and even though we are most vulnerable while we sleep, it is quite obvious that we have to treat our bed as probably the most significant place in our home.
Having a bad Feng Shui for our bed can lead to a decline in our mental and physical health, as negative energy flows can directly impact our well-being. But enhancing our energies will be simple, and it may require us to just pay more attention to the things we store on or what is underneath our bed.
When we keep the things under means allowing the vibration of those things to affect our energy; however, they may also affect other different life aspects like our health, relationships, progress, or luck.
When space constraints force us to store items beneath our beds, we must ensure that they are relevant to our sleep and exceptionally clean. Yes, basic hygiene or energetic cleansing would also be essential.
When we cleanse our home of certain negative energies, we should ensure we apply this same process to our bed—particularly under it. Smudging with basil, frankincense, or white sage enhances the effectiveness and usefulness of the cleansing process.
Furthermore, there are certain things we are never supposed to store under our bed. These are the things we need to avoid:
1. Things that provoke negative memories.
The energy of such things was programmed with specific negative emotions that are connected with them, and such negativity is quickly going to mix with our energy.
2. Pictures or gifts from our past relationships.
We have to make sure that our past stays where it belongs—in the past. Keeping pictures or gifts from our past under our bed is only going to cause an imbalance in our current romantic life and relationship.
3. Old shoes, torn clothes, or dirty items.
We probably believe that such clothes may be useful for us on lazy days, and we are likely right. However, we should not keep them under our bed because they are going to drain our vitality.
4. Potpourri and other types of dead plants.
Such plants usually spread some dead energy, and the name itself implies that too. Instead of attracting a soft fragrance, we may easily attract different illnesses.
5. Damaged or broken items.
If they are definitely broken, it may mean that their vibrations are also damaged, so they are damaging. Such items have the potential to disrupt our luck and transform it into a negative experience.
6. Old gadgets.
This is not just because we don’t use them now or because of their oldness, but because they are corresponding to the metal, which is an element in Feng Shui, so when we keep it under our bed it may bring us to uncontrolled fears and situations.
Generally said, storing things under our bed that are not intended for it is going to influence our energy because of the vibrations they possess. We should stay safe and respect our bed, as it is where we replenish our energy and heal.
