Have you ever wondered what happens to your soul after death? Are you intrigued by the question of afterlife?
In the latest study published in the journal Resuscitation, scientists have found concrete evidence of life after death.
The research was conducted for a period of four years and involved more than 2000 patients who suffered from cardiac arrest. According to the research, nearly 40 percent of the patients described some type of bodily awareness of the time when they were considered clinically dead, after surviving resuscitation.
39 percent of the survivors (out of 140) stated that they had the sense of peacefulness and of slowing down of time. Some recalled seeing a bright yellow light or a sudden flash.
An old man of 57 experienced the weirdest of all phenomenon, he was pronounced dead for 3 minutes but on revival he said that he had left his body completely and was able to see the things happening in the room clearly. Later, he was able to accurately tell about all the actions of the nurses and the sound of the machines.
The editor-in-chief of the journal Resuscitation, Dr Jerry Nolan commented on the study that, “Dr Parnia and his team have done a commendable job in doing this study which will open the floodgates to more extensive research in the field of afterlife.”
The research was done by the faculty and students of the University Of Southampton, United Kingdom. It was largest ever study on near death and out of body experiences.
The major finding of the study was that some level of awareness may continue even after the brain has stopped working completely.
