Bridger Walker is one brave little child from Wyoming. Netizens are all praises for this brave boy who did not hesitate to fight a dog in order to save his sister.
On 9th July, Bridger and his sister were attacked by a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix. The 4-year-old sister was extremely scared, seeing the dog charging towards her, but our little hero knew what he had to do.
He immediately put himself between the dog and his sister in order to protect her. The dog was not happy with this and attacked the brave little boy. It leaped and bit Bridger’s left cheek.
The 6-year-old had to undergo a surgery where he required over 90 stitches. When Mr. Walker asked Bridger why he decided to jump in, Bridger said, “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me.”
Soon after the incident, his aunt started an Instagram page and shared that he was a huge Avengers fan. Award-winning actress Anna Hathaway was quick to notice this boy’s heroics and even commented on his profile.

“I’m not an Avenger, but I know a superhero when I see one,” Hathaway wrote on Instagram. She went on to say how she could only hope to be half as brave as Bridger and wished him a quick recovery.
She also tagged Mark Ruffalo on her comment to get the attention of the Avengers team. Hathaway’s post got over a million likes, and a thousand others joined in praising this brave little boy from Wyoming.
Chris Evans was the next in line with words of admiration:
“I’m sure you’ve heard this a lot over the last couple of the days, but let me be the next one to tell you: Pal, you’re a hero,” Evans said. “What you did was so brave, so selfless, your sister is so lucky to have you as a big brother. Your parents must be so proud of you.”
He added, “Keep being the man you are, we need people like you. Hang in there, I know recovery might be tough, but based on what I’ve seen, I don’t think there’s much that can slow you down.”
Other members of the MCU Avengers series are yet to make any comments publicly. The Walker family has claimed that Hugh Jackman, Tom Holland, Ruffalo, Zachary Levi, and the Russo brothers have contacted them privately.
The family concluded their statement to CNN states by saying that they hope the rest of us learn from Bridger and always approach the world around us with the heart of a child.
We should all be working to bring greater peace to our communities and the world as a whole, according to the Walkers.
