Congratulations, we’ve made it halfway through the zodiac year!

It’s finally Libra season, and from September 23 to October 23, we’ll be thrust into a brand new astrological era marked by a stronger desire for balance, peace, and tranquility. Doesn’t that sound nice?

Libra season, which coincides with the Fall Equinox, is one of those times of year that gives us transitional vibes. There will be an energetic shift in the air that will encourage us to lean into harmony and love. Libra is ruled by Venus, the Planet of Love, so this time of year is conducive to cozy, social, fall romance. There will also be a push to reflect — Libra loves balance, so what better time to assess your year than right in the middle of it?

We can see the fruits of our labor over the last six months as some of the seeds or intentions we planted at the beginning of the year begin to bloom. This can be a powerful time to refocus our efforts and energy on relationships and projects that feel aligned and mutually beneficial. We are also focusing on the important relationships and connections in our lives during the Libra season. We may also feel compelled to experiment with our personal style and aesthetic. This is your cosmic go-ahead to rebrand! Back-to-school energy doesn’t have to be limited to those who are returning to school; channel it into your wardrobe and the ways you express yourself.

The season of the scales is also a time for partnerships, but an astrological event will turn that on its head. The supermoon in Aries on September 29 asks us to prioritize ourselves and understand our needs in partnerships. This full moon falls on the Aries-Libra axis, focusing our attention on our relationships. Aries is concerned with “me,” whereas Libra is concerned with “we.” This full moon has the potential to be a watershed moment in our relationships.

On the same day, Venus, Libra’s planetary ruler, will collide with Uranus, the Planet of Rebellion, bringing an erratic vibe that may have us craving more independence and novelty in our connections. Plan a solo day if you can, go for a walk, clear your head — being erratic in any relationship, platonic or romantic, is never a good thing.

Mark your calendars for the October 14 new moon solar eclipse in Libra, which will be the first eclipse in Libra since October 2004 (!!!). You can reflect on that time period in your life and what was going on for clues on how this energy may manifest in your life this time.

Around this time, we may notice some new relationships or partnerships forming that seem to be intertwined with our fate in some way. Although many of us were quite young at the time, put yourself back in those jelly sandals and try to feel the vibes of your younger self. What were you afraid of? What were you anticipating? What would that child think if they knew who they were going to be when they grew up?

Libra season will end with a bang thanks to this lunar occurrence. While this eclipse occurs on October 14, its effects will last until the end of the Libra season and into the Scorpio season, implying that we should expect some changes in how we communicate. The old ways of expressing our needs will no longer work because we can no longer suppress our true desires in order to maintain a relationship. The truth will be revealed; how it is revealed is entirely up to you.

Libra, in its most beautiful manifestation, brings a sense of enchantment with the ability to transform seemingly overwhelming problems into manageable ones. We can’t force or manipulate change, but we can influence it by performing acts of kindness, fostering social bonds, or simply believing in the value of justice and beauty.
