Every September, we are greeted by a one-of-a-kind Full Moon.

This month marks the Autumn Equinox (for those unfamiliar, an Equinox is a solar event in which day and night are roughly equal), which falls on September 23 this year. The Full Moon closest to the Autumn Equinox is traditionally known as the Harvest Moon, a name given by Native Americans and North American farmers. The Harvest Moon will occur on September 29, 2023, and will fall under the impulsive and determined Fire sign of Aries. With that in mind, if you’re curious about what the Harvest Full Moon in Aries has in store for you, keep reading.

What can we expect from the Aries Full Moon?

Autumn is a symbol of plenty, ripening, harvest, and abundance, as well as decay, decline, old age, and even death, with associations of things past their prime. Combine that with the Harvest Moon, a time of abundance, and the intense energy that comes with a Full Moon, and you’ve got a lot going on. When Aries is thrown into the mix, things become even more chaotic. As the first sign of the zodiac, Aries represents a new beginning. If we look a little deeper, we can see that the upcoming Harvest Full Moon has a lot of potential. On the one hand, Aries is a go-getter; this sign enjoys initiating action and approaches all tasks with zeal. Having access to these vast reserves of energy can be extremely beneficial for those who are feeling stuck or in need of more passion in their lives.

However, Aries are prone to aggressive outbursts, impulsive behavior, and overall brashness, so proceed with caution. It’s not their fault; they are, after all, the zodiac’s warriors. However, if you have grievances or unresolved emotions bubbling beneath the surface, the upcoming Harvest Full Moon in Aries may erupt in a volatile manner. We recommend extra mindfulness during this time, as well as some movement – after all, this is the Aries way. Go to the gym, start running, and say yes to nights of dancing.

But don’t worry. We will leave Virgo season just in time for the Aries Harvest Full Moon, where we will trade Virgo’s habit of optimization for Libra’s harmonizing and diplomatic nature. Surprisingly, Libra’s dislike of confrontation may prove to be the kind of soothing balm that fiery Aries needed during this Full Moon.

Happy Full Moon!!!
