:: North Node Conjunct Chiron (January – April)
As the year 2024 begins, the North Node in Aries and Chiron in Aries will be moving closer together, and on February 11, they will come into complete alignment with one another. This energy will last for the first three to four months, especially around February 11 and the Aries Solar Eclipse on April 8. The North Node represents our collective consciousness, and Chiron is the healing asteroid. These two planetary forces merge to create a powerful healing energy that can lift us all. This energy can heal and end suffering in the world’s neediest places at its peak. It can also raise our consciousness, revealing our healing gifts that we can share. Personally, this energy helps us draw strength from our wounds and traumas. It shows that wounds can lead to wisdom, compassion, and intuition. This beautiful energy dynamic will change how we treat others. This alignment may indicate a humanitarian crisis that unites the world.
:: Jupiter Conjunct Uranus (March-May)
This may be 2024’s biggest alignment! Jupiter and Uranus meet every 12-14 years, but in Taurus is rare. Since Uranus entered Taurus in 2018, and Jupiter in 2023, these themes continue. Taurus is associated with money and self-esteem. Jupiter represents abundance and expansion, while Uranus represents innovation and technology. This alignment will highlight these three themes and may lead to major financial market and digital currency news. Wealth may also shift between sectors. This could be a very innovative time for new technologies and inventions. Smart investments and new technologies can boost wealth. Jupiter-Uranus conjunctions can also cause instability. Something may shock or shake our thinking. Personally, we can use this energy to expand our mindset and create a more abundant life. :: Jupiter Enters Gemini (May 2024- June 2025)
Jupiter enters Gemini on May 26 for the first time in 12 years, staying there until June 2025. Jupiter, the planet of expansion, enters Gemini, giving us Gemini energy. Twins—one mortal and one immortal—represent Gemini. We are souls and humans, and we must honor both sides of our expression. Spiritually, we know we are love and that life is a series of lessons and experiences. The soul knows we will all return to our true home. Our human self must follow 3D rules. The reality of life on earth and suffering make our human selves feel less love than our soul selves. We must honor, respect, and nurture these two sides of ourselves. Under this alignment, we may become more aware of how to merge our spiritual and materialistic selves and find a balance. Communication, storytelling, writing, social media, and domestic travel are all ruled by Gemini, so they may be highlighted. The publishing and media industries may change. A new social media platform may take off or the landscape may change.
:: Jupiter Square Saturn (July-December)
Jupiter and Saturn will form a direct square (90-degree) alignment on August 19 and December 24, but we will feel the energy from July onward. Jupiter-square Our December 2020 Great Conjunction will be triggered by Saturn. Lessons and energy from the Great Conjunction will be expanded. :: Pluto Enters Aquarius (November 2024-March 2043)
Beginning in the year 2024, Pluto will officially transition out of the sign of Capricorn and into the sign of Aquarius, where it will remain for the next twenty years. The passage of Pluto into Aquarius represents a revolutionary change that has been taking place over the course of the past few years. While Pluto has been between Capricorn and Aquarius for some time, we’ve already begun to experience some of the themes that will come. Pluto, Lord of the Underworld, represents the subconscious and hidden. Pluto can illuminate or bury these shadows depending on how its energies are used. Pluto in Capricorn has focused on hierarchies, global finance, and order. We have seen some top-down authority structure systems dismantled, but others have persisted. Pluto exposes power abuses, but it’s easy to miss. Pluto handles all technology in Aquarius. Here, tech power systems will change. This energy will boost tech and spur innovation. Technology may change power dynamics. Humanitarian efforts benefit from Pluto in Aquarius. Helping others and the poor may gain support. Since Pluto moves slowly, this unraveling will happen gradually and behind the scenes. Our understanding of Pluto’s lessons will only become clear after its journey.
:: Mars Retrograde (October 2024- May 2025)
Out of all the planets, Mars is the one that goes through retrograde the least, so when it does, it is something that we should pay serious attention to! Mars symbolizes action, motivation, and energy. Its retrograde state can lower productivity, energy, and motivation. Mars Retrograde can cause burnout if we overdo it. Mars rules heated emotions, so a Mars Retrograde can bring them out. Mars goes retrograde in Leo on December 6 and returns to Cancer before turning direct on February 24, 2025. Leo themes may focus on motivation and confidence, while Cancer themes may focus on family, home, and emotions. Mars is retrograde from December to February, but its shadow period lasts from October to May 2025.
:: Eclipses in 2024
A total of four eclipses are scheduled to occur in the year 2024, with three of them occurring along the axis of Aries-Libra and one occurring along the axis of Pisces-Virgo. A separate Eclipse cycle will preview 2025 with the Pisces Lunar Eclipse on September 17. Our current Aries-Libra cycle includes three more Eclipses. All of these Eclipses are about relationships and giving and receiving. Libra is a partnership energy, while Aries is independent. These forces will remind us where we need more autonomy and union. Lunar Eclipses mark release and endings, while Solar Eclipses mark new beginnings. This suggests that during Lunar Eclipses, we let go of outdated thoughts and beliefs about our relationships and relationship dynamics, and during Solar Eclipses, we welcome new ones.
