Consciousness is not a hierarchy. It’s not a scale of development, not a staircase of progress where the ego climbs upward step by step.
What we perceive as “levels” are not stages of the evolution of Consciousness, but the gradual dissolution of ignorance. Consciousness does not evolve—it simply recognizes itself as layer after layer of false identification falls away.
The journey is not one of gaining something new, but of losing everything that veils the Real. The shift is not movement forward but stillness inward. It’s not a striving toward the light, but a silent return to the Light that never left.

Welcome to 2025’s Virgo Season: Bridge Between Seasons
1. Total Identification—The Dream
This is the densest layer of unconsciousness. Here, Consciousness is entirely absorbed in form. It is fully identified with the body, thoughts, emotions, name, past, future, and story. The sense of “I” is wholly merged with the ego-structure, which appears to be real and solid.
In this state, the world seems separate, and the “I” is the doer, the sufferer, and the achiever. The dream of separation is complete. But this is not a mistake—it is the natural starting point of human experience. The soul in this phase is not lost—it is dreaming. And every awakening begins inside the dream.
2. The Birth of Inquiry—The First Crack in the Wall
Something begins to shift. Often triggered by suffering, loss, existential crisis, or an inexplicable inner pull, the person starts to question. These are not mere practical questions like “What should I do?” but essential ones: “Who am I?”, “Why do I suffer?”, and “What is real?”
The questions signal the beginning of the inner movement. The dream is not over, but the dreamer has stirred. The search begins—usually in the realm of thought, belief, or spiritual practices. The seeker is born. Still rooted in identification, but now aware that something is not quite right.

3. The Witness—Separate Seeing
This is the first true breakthrough into inner space. The individual begins to see that thoughts, emotions, and sensations can be observed. A distance appears: “I am not my mind, not my body, not my pain.” The witnessing awareness emerges.
This brings a sense of freedom. But the ego takes a new shape—now becoming the “spiritual observer.” The division remains: “I am the one watching—and there is what I watch.” Duality continues in a more subtle form.
This level is a vital transition. It opens the door to silence and space. But it is not yet liberation—because the “I” still subtly claims ownership of awareness.
4. Moments of Unity—Temporary Dissolution
With deepening practice, stillness, and surrender, spontaneous experiences of oneness begin to appear. In meditation, in nature, in love, and in still attention, the sense of separateness fades. There is no “I” left to observe—only Presence.
Time dissolves. Identity vanishes. The ego is silent—and Consciousness remembers itself. These are not constant states but brief glimpses. Afterward, the mind returns and tells the story of “what happened.”
The seeker tries to repeat the experience, but it cannot be summoned. This leads to a deeper understanding: Reality cannot be controlled. It can only be allowed.

5. The Dissolution of the Mature Witness—The Exhaustion of Seeking
The search begins to collapse. No technique, teacher, or philosophy can offer lasting peace. Even spiritual experiences start to feel empty. The seeker sees through the illusion of seeking itself.
The witness position—once a refuge—is no longer sufficient. Something deeper begins to emerge: a pure beingness that wants nothing. The desire for understanding fades. Not out of despair, but because it is seen as unnecessary.
This is not apathy or withdrawal but a vibrant, intelligent stillness. The seeker is dissolving. The seeking stops not by decision, but by insight. What remains is not striving but resting in what always was.
6. The Recognition of the Illusion of the Personal Self
This is not a mystical experience. It is the absence of the experiencer. It becomes clear: there never was a separate “I” who searched, practiced, or evolved. The entire journey was a dream—a movement within the field of Consciousness.
There is no controller, no inner doer. Life flows—speech, eating, and breathing all occur, but without an “I” behind them. The “self” is seen for what it was: a thought.
Freedom is not a state; it is the absence of clinging to any state. There is no awakening “for someone”—only the fading of the illusion that there ever was someone.

7. Pure Consciousness—The Home of Silence
This is not an experience—because it has no beginning, no end, and no object. It is not the culmination of effort but the absence of effort. There is no one here to attain, acquire, or achieve. Only the timeless is.
Silence is not void. It’s alive. Aware. Infinite. All appearances arise within it, but it remains untouched. Here, even the concept of “enlightenment” becomes meaningless—for who would be enlightened?
There is only this: radiant Stillness, formless Awareness. The One without a second. Not something to reach—but what you already are before you seek, think, or name.
Conclusion: There Are No Levels
The “levels” of consciousness are not steps upward but layers of forgetting that dissolve. There is no progress. No final state. Only the falling away of illusion.
The deeper Reality was never absent. The Light was never hidden. The path is not ascending toward something else—it is returning to what always was.
Consciousness does not grow. It simply remembers. And what it remembers… is Itself.
