Mark your calendars for the night of Monday, Nov. 11, when the Northern Taurids will reach their peak. However, keep in mind that the brilliance of the moon might affect visibility.
Seek out a location that is far removed from urban areas or street illumination. Be ready to tackle winter’s chill with a cozy sleeping bag, a warm blanket, or a comfortable lawn chair. Position yourself with your feet facing east, lie back comfortably, and gaze upward, absorbing the vastness of the sky above.
In under 30 minutes of darkness, your eyes will adjust, allowing you to spot meteors in the night sky. Stay patient—the spectacle will continue until dawn, giving you ample opportunity to witness the magic.
