Solar Eclipses, happening during a New Moon, serve as a potent gateway for manifestation and intention-setting. This ritual emphasizes stability, balance, and ease, with intention setting included as a supportive element.
In addition to providing a powerful healing vibration, it can also help us connect with and liberate the healer that resides within us. Additionally, it encourages autonomy, spontaneity, and transformation.
We may be forced to alter our course of action or make some adjustments that we had not anticipated due to the fact that, in addition to all of this, there is some unsettled energy taking shape.
A powerful time in our cosmic skies and a powerful beginning to the Lunar New Year are both things that can be attributed to the combination of all of this energy.

Aquarius Solar Eclipse New Moon Ritual, February 2026
The best time to perform this ritual is from February 15 to February 20, 2026.
Ingredients
- Cleansing tool of choice (herbs, incense, etc.)
- Candle
- Your favorite crystal
- Bowl of water (preferably filtered)
- Sprinkle of Sea Salt
- 1-2 drops of lavender essential oil (or whatever you like)
- Journal and pen
- Empty spray bottle (optional)
Important: Make sure you fully submerge your crystal in water before performing this ritual. Some crystals, particularly those with names that end in “-ite,” can be harmed by exposure to water. For those who like, simply cover your bowl of water with a lid and set the crystal on top for an elegant touch.
Rose quartz is my personal favorite for this ritual, but you’re welcome to select whatever resonates with you.

Instructions:
Step One
Begin this ritual by taking your bowl of water and gently placing the crystal within it. Add a dash of salt along with the soothing lavender essential oil. Gently swirl the water with your finger and position it right in front of you.
Step Two
Then, cleanse your aura and environment with your preferred cleansing tool.
While you cleanse your aura, you may choose to recite the following:
“I cleanse from head to toe; I am rejuvenated from the inside out. I experience a sense of balance and alignment. I experience a profound sense of balance within my heart and my true self. I stand proudly beneath the moonlit sky. I value my essence, my strengths, and my vulnerabilities. I am complete. I feel a sense of tranquility. I am ready for the coming year. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!”
While you cleanse your environment, you may choose to chant the following:
“I purify my environment with the brilliance of illumination. This night, I purify and bring harmony back into alignment. My environment is purified, and my work is secure and safeguarded. Let the enchantment of light illuminate the world this evening. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!”

Step Three
Now, ignite your candle and take hold of your bowl of water. With both hands cradling it, either recite the following or express what you feel in the moment.
“I infuse this water with love and light. This water is charged under the enchanting glow of the New Moon night. Let my efforts here shine brightly, and may my heart’s center grow wider. May this water provide the healing, opening, or awakening that I seek in this moment. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!”
Gently position your right hand over your heart center and softly close your eyes. Take a moment to breathe deeply for 30 breaths, envisioning the air flowing in and out of your heart center.
Step Four
Gently open your eyes, keeping your hand on your heart, and either repeat the following or express what you feel in this moment.
“Dearest heart, I am grateful for your unwavering guidance. I appreciate your guidance in navigating my emotions. I’m eager to share more with you. I desire to cultivate a stronger connection with you. I desire to experience deeper love, share more love, and embrace more love. I seek direction to assist me in reaching this goal. I request to embrace openness in order to gain clearer insight. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!”

Once you’ve finished writing, take a moment to review your work and contemplate any inspiration that may have emerged.
Step Eight
Turn off the candle and let your water absorb energy overnight by a window, if you can. In the morning, take out your crystal and gently pat it dry.
Store the water in your spray bottle for a refreshing mist whenever you feel the need for a little extra support. In the absence of a spray bottle, simply pour the bowl of water over your heart center as you shower.
