Imagine, you go out into your back yard and you see a bear peacefully resting. What would you do about it?

A woman in Virginia was pleasantly surprised to see a large black bear taking a nap in a kiddie pool she had in her backyard.

Regina Keller, who is well familiar with bears, has been capturing the amazing wildlife in her backyard for over 12 years.

She lives in a remote home, close to the George Washington National Forest in Fort Valley, Virginia, so she is no stranger to all kinds of furry visitors including deer, bears, foxes, and squirrels.

On July 19, Keller was doing the watering and taking care of her flowers, when a large black bear wandered into her backyard.

“This was the biggest one I’ve seen this year,” Keller told CNN.

Interestingly enough, Regina recognized the bear which used to visit her backyard two years ago.

“He wandered around the backyard… and went over by the pool and dipped his big paw in the water… and then climbed right in and laid down. He seemed so content and refreshed.”

She was mesmerized by the unusual sight so she sat in a chair by the door just to enjoy the curious animal. The bear relaxed and took a nap in the middle pool for about an hour. He went away, chased off by the sound of Regina’s grandkids and their dogs who were arriving in her driveway.

“It was neat to see and neat that I had my camera with me to capture it,” she said.

How would you react if you were to witness something so unusual, yet magnificent?
