It might feel like Halloween, or as if you are living out an intense psychological thriller. That’s because the year’s most powerful Full Moon has arrived.

Moreover, it is also a Scorpio Lunar Eclipse, with Pluto’s assistance involved. At the end of it, you will receive a release promising catharsis. However, the journey can be arduous.

Right now, the cosmos is incentivizing confronting the unpleasantness shrouding you – both within and outside. Confronting is not all, as you are also being asked to deal with it in a dramatic fashion – purge it or transform it and make it something healthier.

Full Moons are known as periods when dramas reach their emotional extreme. As it is a Scorpio Full Moon, the dramas are full of control and power issues, hidden machinations, and secrets. Furthermore, the lunar eclipse in Scorpio is going to cover all of that and more with multiple revelations and forceful ends to uncomfortable, tenacious storylines.

This will be eclipse number three in the present cycle on the Taurus-Scorpio axis. It started in November in the form of a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Taurus and will end in late 2023. The cycle seeks to revisit and reissue issues pertaining to resources. Some debates that are becoming themes are control and power, ROI and investments, subterranean vs superficial, and joint vs individual.

Multiple Themes Resurfacing

Taurus heightens the holding, tasting, consuming, and sensing of the moment. Scorpio, on the other hand, prefers to plumb through the depths silently and collect the wealth (material or informational) while pulling off a perfect poker face.

This Lunar eclipse is not only connected to April’s New Moon solar eclipse in Taurus but also the 2003 May Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio. Dramas from that period of time might resurface.

Furthermore, this lunation is opposite to the degree of the November 2021 Lunar Eclipse. Things that began to mutate back then may have been tinged with profound power, fears, or darkness in the present moment. Similar to that eclipse, Pluto’s assistance is offering transformative powers.

In a sense, you may think of it as an open portal to realms of hell. As such, monsters and emotions can appear from areas that you did not even know existed. On the other hand, the connection is also supplying you with the nerve and tools to defeat the monster and make an immense change. It is inviting you to emotional detoxification. It is up to you whether you open the valve or wield a scalpel. Definitely, it might hurt but in the end, you will feel a lot better.

The 2022 Full Moon in Scorpio is a chance to get ready and confront whatever may surface. It is encouraging you to be responsible and mature and face power, rules, impediments, structures, and authority head-on and force them to change. There may be experiences regarding accountability issues.

A Rough Ride Ahead

As such, be prepared for massive changes in your friend circles as conclusions to cracks that appeared in November. There will also be extremely uncomfortable revelations with adverse consequences. Your reactions won’t be temporary either as they will permanently change your relationships.

Be aware that gaslighting will be a big theme in all this muck. Be attentive to your inclinations, nudges, and the things that make you step out of your comfort zone. These are all clues as to the truth behind the foggy ideas and inspirations.

In other words, it is another period where the motto is: No need to be afraid of the Reaper. It does not mean that literal death is on the horizon. Rather, a part of your emotions may face that fate. Plus, you are working with the Reaper in bringing it about.
