On the last day of this month, Mars will move into Aries and the two together will bring us a lot more energy than we’re used to usually. As the planet that governs Aries, the passion that Mars exudes will be unlike anything we’ve seen in a long time.
In case you didn’t know, Mars is one of the symbols of the God of War and it signifies passion and movement.
It brings forth our sexual needs and helps us understand the aggression within ourselves that we tend to hide because we don’t know how to use it. When Mars enters Aries, you will find yourself rising to challenges and feeling more motivated.
In the two years that it takes for Mars to orbit, we stay within our comfort zones and rarely move beyond it. But when it enters Aries, the sheer force of its energy will make us sit up and take notice of everything. We’ll find ourselves taking steps that we usually would not have the courage or the drive to take.
This is a time when most people start discovering what they’re good at. With this newfound awareness buoying them, they will stop bowing down to authority and start taking interest in what they’re passionate about.
The energy of Aries is stimulating in its vitality and this will take different shapes in different people based on the kind of person they are and how far they’ve traveled on their respective paths through life. We’ll feel ready to leave the past behind, so much so, that extending forgiveness seems like a small price to pay to move into the future.
On the subject of the energy that Mars exudes, Astrology.com said, “Mars is the action planet of the zodiac. The ‘Red Planet’ after all, should be pretty fiery, and Mars does not disappoint. Energy, passion, drive, and determination are all right up Mars’ alley. This planet commands you (and yes, Mars does rule the military) to stand up, be noticed and get things done – sitting on the sidelines belongs somewhere else in the heavens. Simply put, Mars speaks to the power and confident expression of the individual.”
Knowing that this is a volatile period, you should be able to detach yourself when you are stuck in stressful circumstances. Remove yourself from your problems and look at them in the way that a third person would, so that you can make plans in an objective manner. A lot of unexpected twists and turns can assail you at this time, so, be ready to face them.
Make sure that you don’t end up lost and confused. Take some time off to rest and rejuvenate yourself so that you have the energy to come up with unique solutions. Mars is ready to give you guidance, but first you must meditate and ask for the help that you need.
For Mars, entering Aries is like coming back home. He’ll urge us all to start working towards our most desired goals and he will guide us towards our own true selves. Don’t struggle against this energy. Use it, and you will find yourself becoming more confident and powerful.
Most of us haven’t been taught to handle the changes that come when Mars enters Aries. All you need to keep in mind is that you don’t have to turn your life upside down. When you begin to feel independent and strong, use those feelings and that energy to make yourself a better person.
Think about your deepest, truest desires, and once you know what they are, you’ll find it much easier to figure out the rest of your life. Focus on this and you’ll find yourself ending this year on a very high note.
